AD Legacy 115 – 15" Passive 2-Way Professional PA Speaker

Bigger Sound. Greater Impact. Built for Professional Performance.

Experience powerful, full-range sound with the AD Legacy 115, a professional 15-inch passive 2-way loudspeaker engineered for demanding live sound applications.

Built with the same premium driver configuration as the powered Legacy 115AF, the Legacy 115 delivers strong low-frequency performance, clear vocal projection, and detailed high-frequency reproduction—while giving audio professionals the flexibility to select their preferred external power amplifier and DSP processor.

Whether used for concerts, churches, hotels, corporate events, rental productions, or permanent installations, the Legacy 115 is designed to deliver powerful, balanced, and dependable sound.

Why Choose the AD Legacy 115?

Powerful 15-Inch Full-Range Sound

At the heart of the Legacy 115 is a high-performance 15-inch woofer with a large 3.5-inch voice coil and ferrite magnet.

Engineered for powerful bass response and excellent midrange clarity, this professional driver delivers the low-frequency impact and vocal presence required for live music, DJs, speeches, and demanding sound reinforcement applications.

The larger 15-inch driver provides a rich, full-bodied sound suitable for medium to large venues.

Premium 3-Inch Compression Driver

High frequencies are reproduced through a professional 3-inch neodymium compression driver with a 1.4-inch exit throat.

Designed for excellent clarity and projection, this high-frequency driver delivers crisp vocals, detailed instruments, and smooth treble reproduction.

Combined with the 15-inch woofer, the Legacy 115 offers a balanced and dynamic sound suitable for professional live performances.

Flexible External Amplification

Unlike powered speakers, the AD Legacy 115 uses an external power amplifier, allowing sound engineers and system operators to configure amplification according to their requirements.

This design offers several advantages:

  • Freedom to choose a compatible professional power amplifier

  • Flexible system expansion

  • Centralized amplifier rack management

  • Convenient maintenance and servicing

  • Ideal for multi-speaker installations and rental systems

For a complete AD professional audio solution, the Legacy 115 can be paired with a properly matched AD ULT Series power amplifier.

Professional DSP System Integration

The Legacy 115 is designed to work with external loudspeaker management processors for precise system tuning and optimization.

When paired with the PhaseLab Legacy 4.8 DSP Processor, sound engineers can configure:

  • FIR Processing

  • Crossover Management

  • Parametric Equalization

  • Speaker Delay and Alignment

  • Output Limiting

  • System Routing and Matrix Control

With proper system tuning, the Legacy 115 can deliver precise, controlled, and consistent sound across a wide range of applications.

Rugged Construction for Professional Use

Designed for the demands of professional audio, the Legacy 115 features a durable wooden enclosure with a textured black finish and protective steel grille.

Its robust cabinet construction makes it suitable for both portable sound reinforcement and permanent installations.
